Face It, we humans just don't see as well as most of the animals we try to hunt.

Telecopes enable you to accurately place long shots. The light transmission through the glass of your telescope is critical. The more light that gets through without distortion, the clearer you will see the image. This is what you pay for when you buy quality.

Telescope Magnification comes with some tradeoffs. When you increase magnification, you increase weight and decrease the field of view. With a 10X you can probably zoom in on the fleas on an animal. However, for most hunters a 2X-7X or a 3X-9X scope, while slug guns and muzzleloaders can use 1X-4X variables.

Binoculars let you see into places that your eyes cannot. Choose them wisely, take good care of them, and always take them with you.
